Many blog and wiki sites are not educationally sound and/or appropriate for use in an educational setting; however many of these sites can be used safely and can enhance instruction. In an effort to assist teachers and students with being able to access these sites, the Department of Instructional Technology Services has created this information page for the purpose of sharing some sites that would be appropriate for use in the classroom. 

The suggested sites included on these pages are by no means the only sites that can be used for instruction. These are, however, sites that the staff of ITS have carefully examined and found to be appropriate and safe for our students. Many of them are password protected and can be monitored easily by teachers.  Use of these sites, if monitored wisely by teachers, also meets all of the guidelines of the district’s Acceptable Use Policy.
